Summary

EEM EHS Management Inc. (EEM) was mandated to conduct environmental legal compliance audits for a real estate industry leader. The objective was to determine the degree of compliance of operations under the company’s control with current legislation.

Approach and Solution

EEM carried out environmental legal compliance audits to verify compliance with federal, provincial and municipal environmental legislation. The audit was conducted according to the principles outlined in CSA’s Z773-17 Environmental compliance auditing. Qualified and experienced auditors conducted the audits.

Results

These environmental legal compliance audits helped the client identify areas of improvement, allowing them to apply corrective measures to reduce the risk of unexpected events and costs in the future.
